Thanksgiving card ideas
Being Canadian, I find it challenging to create Thanksgiving cards! First of all, Thanksgiving in Canada is not nearly as BIG a deal as it is in the US. And, while there are similarities between Cdn Thanksgiving and American Thanksgiving, (like the food!) the imagery is quite different.
In fact, according to my sister who is a very proud Canadian, Thanksgiving dates back to the 1500s in Canada. Of course, it has nothing to do with the pilgrims & the Mayflower either. But, you'll have to ask her for the full story!
Here are a few cards that I created using some of our new Thanksgiving stamps. I do love our new Pilgrim girl & pilgrim boy stamps!
This card is similar to one that we taught at our Grand Opening. We jazzed it up a bit for the class by having fun with the ribbon.
This is a card idea from Heidi's husband Chris. We all had a good laugh over it!
My favorite part about thankgiving is apple pie with a slice of strong cheddar cheese. I know, I know, most people prefer pumpkin pie - must be my Canadian heritage! LOL!
I had fun making this card. I drew in the leaves with markers - fun fall colors.
...and finally one more card for you today:
We're heading to the pumpkin patch this Sunday (which by the way is my birthday!). I can't wait to run in the fields and pick out lots of lovely gourds! My girls are looking forward to the after-dark corn maze! This is a very muddy event here in WA state!
These cards are all fairly straight-forward, however, if you have questions let me know.

Hahahaha! Love Chris' idea ... too funny. Great cards, thanks for sharing!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope it was special!
