Remember: A Muse clear valentine’s sets are not just for kids!
I simply adore our clear kids stamp sets that we introduced last year for Valentine’s day. The images are so fun and it is super easy to create great cards in just a few minutes. If you received last week’s a-muse-letter, you saw some cards that we created using our Dino Clear set. (if not, what are you waiting for… sign up for our weekly a-muse-letter to receive our Card of the week and more! J)
Here are a couple more cards that I made with that set.
This first card uses one of my favorite designs – the Cuckoo bird. I just love this guy! I added a small feather to his tail and a googly eye just for fun. I don't normally do this but sometimes when punching through printed cardstock (vs. dyed) the edges can look a little rough. This is one way to clean them up.
This next card was fun to make. I used liquid appliqué to give the sheep a wooly effect. If you look closely at the sheep you will see that the “wool” looks quite different on each sheep. I used a lot of liquid appliqué on the sheep to the left so it appears thicker and puffier. For the sheep on the right I just used tiny dabs to make him look cleaner cut.
I just love my white liquid appliqué! You can get yours with your next A Muse order - we have lots in stock!
Please note: The photos in this post will not stay in their proper order... don't know why! Arrrgh!

These are too cute...I especially love the 2 sheep friends, and the sentiment is perfect! I MUST get out my liquid applique! It's time to play :)

I bought three of the clear sets last year and could not be more pleased with the quality. The valentines have also been very useful for kids' birthday cards (I loved Linda's cat with the rhinestone collar!) I purchased a cleaner for acrylic stamps and have found it very useful, and superior to other methods I was using, especially for keeping the stamps from getting sticky.
