A "real" amuse-bouche is designed to give you a little tasty morsel before your meal and make your mouth happy! OUR amuse-bouche is sorta' the same: something to give you a little taste of what's to come. But ... please just pet the yummy stamps, don't EAT 'em. *snicker*
Julie's card is simply stunning, isn't it? The Solid Zinnia is one of my favorites in the Love Blooms release and she's really made it shine!
The new images are arriving in your local shops now (and will be available online 25 March)!
Stayed tuned ... more amuse-bouche to come!

I love zinnias. . . . so I guess I am seeing a new stamp in my future. This card is beautiful. The coloring/shading on the zinnia is perfect!!!

Hey, Sandy! I inked the blossom first with Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink in Tangerine, then I inked the outer edges with Warm Red, to get that graduated multi-color effect.
When using this technique, be sure to ink the stamp with your lightest colors FIRST, then graduatingly darker colors, so you don't contaminate your ink pads too much.
The beauty of CB FLuid Chalk Cat's Eyes, is that if you do contaminate a little (i.e. some orange ends up on the red pad and causes the original red to become orange hued), you can easily fix this by tapping or blotting the contaminated pad surface with a paper towel, and reink it with the proper color.
I love CB FC Inks because they blend so beautifully whether on paper or directly on the stamp--the color is very rich and saturated, and dries quickly to a beautiful chalk finish on non-porous (non-glossy) papers.
HTH, and thank you (thanks to all of you, actually!) for your kind comments on this piece! --JulieHRR
