Elzybells *SNEAK peek*

I love this new Elzybells Flower Girl stamp.  She is just the perfect 'everyday' stamp.  Flower girl coordinates well with many existing A Muse stamps to offer endless possibilities.

As soon as I pulled out this stamp, I knew that I wanted to make a card using with the A Muse Pink Tutu Tiny Flower notes.  It's hard to see but I added the Clear Copic Glitter Pen to her dress and it is very sparkly.

The big floppy daisies that the Flower girl is holding makes me think of the 70s for some reason.  So, I grabbed our Love bus and Groovy day stamps to go with her.  For even more retro flair, I used green and orange ribbon and paper.  During the 70s, I was in LOVE with anything rainbow...  in fact, my parents helped me paint a ginormous rainbow on my bedroom wall.  I thought a rainbow dress would be fun for the Flower girl.

Yippee!

Just a quick note to let you know that the new Elzybells stamps are up on the blog.  Click on over and to meet them!

And, be sure to let us know which one is your favorite by leaving a comment.

Ooh la la!

I am having so much fun with my Elzybells stamps!  We have been hard at work "behind the scenes" as we get ready to unveil all 68 images tomorrow.

Here are a few answers to some of your questions.

Q. Are these stamps wood mounted?
A.  Yes.  They are made right here in North America by our current manufacturer.  The stamps will be deep-etched red rubber on a contoured wood-mount.

Q. What's a girl to do if there is no LSS nearby?
A. We really do encourage you to support your local LSS and many of our current stores have orders en route.  If you do not have an LSS nearby, you will have an option to purchase these sweet images online over at the Elzybells NA blog.

Q. How can I join the Elzybells Design Team?
A.  At present, the Elzybells Design Team is full.  Emily is the Elzybells DT coordinator.  If you would like to be considered for a Guest Designer spot or a future DT position, please contact her.  Before you do, it would be helpful to put together a short backgrounder on yourself that tells about your stamping experience and why you are interested in either of these positions.  And, be sure to include samples of your *best* work as well as a link to your blog or online gallery.

Q. When?!!!
A.  Tomorrow.

===============================================

'OK already... enough yapping!  Show us the cards!"

Well, OK, since you asked....

Here are a few fast and easy cards I made with these sweet stamps.

Eb_skater

I *heart* this skater.  It reminds me of growing up in Quebec and skating on the lake with my cousins (36 of them!!) It's a good thing that it is a big lake... you could always find a peaceful spot.

Elzybells stamps work great with A Muse images. If you haven't yet added the Birch trees stamp to your collection, what are you waiting for?!!  It is the *most* versatile stamp and is my new favorite!  Here the trees are stamped in Encore Ultimate Metallic Blue and they looks almost ethereal.

Eb_stable_scene

Do you see how nicely this Stable Scene stamp fits in the Giga Scallop Rectangle punch?  This would be a super easy card to make for the holidays - less than 5 steps total!  You can't see this too well in the photo but I added Diamond glitter to the stars (thats' one of the fives steps).

Eb_pucker_up

I'm telling you, it is so easy to make great cards in a matter of minutes with these stamps, A Muse notecards and a bit of ribbon.  This card took less than 5 minutes.  Sweet!

Be sure to check out the Elzybells NA Blog tomorrow!

** s n e a k * p e e k **

A few of you keen readers noticed a mention in yesterday's post that we have some exciting news.  It's true and we are excited to share with you an exciting new venture for A Muse!

For a long time, I have admired the designs of a UK company in the Elzybells Art Stamps Ltd.  Elizabeth's sweet and simple images allow stampers to create quick and easy cards - just like A Muse stamps!

We are thrilled to announce that A Muse is now the * e-x-c-l-u-s-i-v-e *  North American distributor for this wonderful line of stamps!  These stamps will be available at many of your local stamp stores later this week.  If you local store is not carrying these stamps, be sure to let them know!

Our new Elzybells Design Team has been hard at work creating fabulous samples for your viewing pleasure.  You can take a peak over at the new Elzybells blog - www.ElzybellsNA.typepad.com. Be sure to add it to your favorites as the designers will have much to share in the days, weeks and months ahead.  There may even be some fun blog giveaways too!

Here are a few cards that I whipped up last night. The Elzybells images we are selling in North America are significantly smaller than their UK counterparts and work beautifully with A Muse notecards, Creative Candy stickers and Ribbon!

This card  features a stamp called "Deck the Halls".  The tree and the girl are combined together in one stamp.  It's a sweet image for holiday cards and would be especially fun for a holiday party invitation.

This next card features a fun reindeer postage stamp!  There are a few postage stamp designs with this first release that are "must haves" for the holidays. I colored the reindeer with my Copic markers (I just love the even finish I get from these markers!), added some yellow glitter glue to the star he's holding and then popped his nose.  What I mean is that I stamped the reindeer image twice, colored his nose red, cut it out and adhered it over the nose on the image you see here.  I had to use the teensy-tiniest piece of foam tape you've ever seen!

Eb_reindeer_post

Here's a close up of the nose... you can't see that I added glitter to the snowflakes or the border of the stamp because we have no sunshine today (cold & rainy here in Seattle).  They are quite sparkly IRL.

Delivered in a twinkle... I can see sooo many possibilities for this word stamp!

Click on over to the Elzybells blog for lots more *sneak peeks!*  today and throughout the week!

Back in a twinkle!
