Today I drove past something that made me do a double-take and no it wasn't the sign above (it's pretty funny though!)... it was a city worker scrubbing road signs! I was SHOCKED! In fact, I was so shocked, I called my husband to ask him what he thought of this. He said he thought it was a good idea. What?!!
Have you ever seen this? Do you think it is a good use of tax dollars?
I can see doing this in Quebec where the roads get hit with a lot of snow, salt and sand in the winter, however, in all my years (nor in my mother's) have I *ever* seen them clean a road sign. I just fail to see how this makes the city's maintenance list when the road surfaces in Seattle are so bad that they jiggle me off my bike seat...
I'm interested in your thoughts on this.
