Here are three more cards by Elena. I call them the argyle series because each card uses one of our fun Argyle notecards.
The first card looks stunning IRL. It is hard to capture by camera because the vellum seems to have muted the photo a bit. For this card, Elena cut a piece of thin vellum 4" square, punched out a Marvy Mega Oval to create a window and placed it over her card. The vellum is held in place by the ribbon at the top of the card. The image is stamped on a white Mega Scallop Oval (my favorite punch!) and adhered to an A Muse cottage green argyle notecard. Very pretty!
The second card is simple but effective. I like how Elena use our Big Bl stamp directly on an A Muse cottage blue argyle note. This created a "canvas" for her to stamp our new Chandelier onto. Clever!
{Did you know, our Big Bl is presently on sale for $4.50... look in the Bargains section on the A Muse website.}
The last card reminds me of a very fancy neighborhood in Toronto (Yorkville) near where I went to University (go UofT!). All of the houses on this one street looked so nice and trim. I especially loved walking down this street at nightime in the Spring.
Stay tuned for more installments of Elena's fabulous creations!!
These are my favorites so far! Very cute! I will look forward to seeing more..keep up the great work Elena!

It so totally does look like Yorkville! I lived in Toronto and worked at UofT (SAC) from fall 1990 until winter 1995.

These cards are lovely - I love the first one, and hope I can figure out how to do something similar! It is the time of year for bride and engagement cards! I love the chandelier on the background stamp - my favorite with that stamp that I have seen. Thanks for sharing all your creative ideas, Elena!

I love the wedding card....I need to try using the empty punched out paper, and not just the punched out images, more often!!

I love how you show cased each image in a different fashion. Very clever! I love the wedding card for it's softness, yet pulling the image towards the front. Also, I like how you put the focus on the center Brownstone house! Love your work - you do need a blog or online gallery somewhere! :)

Beautiful cards. How clever of you to use the Brownstone that way. It reminds me of the Brownstones in Boston. I love how you used the argyle cards. The scallop around the bride and groom reflected in the scallop at the bottom of the card adds a touch of elegance. Thank you for sharing you're ideas.

Elena- These are some of my favorites of yours. They go along with the motto of A MUSE "THINK SIMPLE". That is one of the things I love about A MUSE is how such a simple card can really make a statement. I love your wedding card. It is so simple & classy..very nice! The little details like the twinkle stickers on the last card add that little something that makes them stand out. I really am glad you have shared all you fantastic work with all of us stampers out there. THANK YOU LINDA FOR SHARING WITH US!!
