Each year, I like to make special treats for my girls for Hallowe'en. They each have their favorite candies so it is a fun way to give them a personalized treat.
Hailey and I both *love* black jelly beans so this one's for her. This took less than 10 minutes total to put together so it is quite a reasonable project to make for a few extra special peeps. I spent the most time coloring the kids from our Parade stamp. The detail in this stamp is amazing and I had to use my Triplus Fineliner Markers to stay inside the lines. These markers are a must have for all papercrafters.
My favorite part about this little goody is the *surprise* when you open the tin. This was inspired but the little jack in the box toy we have at the shop for our junior shoppers. To make the spring, I cut a strip of cardstock (7" x .75") and scored it every 1/2". I then made an accordion fold and taped it to the bottom of the tin. I thought Boo! was an appropriate thing for the surprise. I punched it out using the new Marvy Extra Jumbo scallop circle punch.
