I have been giving my Marvy Scallop Heart punches a good workout these past few weeks. I know many of you have acquired these punches (we're sold out!) so I thought I'd post another fun idea that uses this fun punch shape (any size will work).
This hanging 3-D heart was easy to make and I just love it! It's easy to make too! Simply punch 5 hearts (or more), score them down the middle...
adhere half of one heart to half of another heart using double stick tape (love my Kokuyo Dot 'n Roller for this!)...
When you have only one side left to adhere, run a piece of ribbon, twine or waxy flax (mine is made by Scrapworks) through the center of your heart so that you can hang it. I tied a bead on the end of my waxy flax so to secure it. You could add a button or simply tie a knot. Adhere the final piece and you are done!
Can I just say that this blogging thing is GREAT. I love how easy it is to add photos to demonstrate things. How did we ever manage without?!!
I will be "offline" for a few days attending the Craft & Hobby Tradeshow. We are excited to have a *small* booth there this year and meet some of our wholesale customers. A Muse will be open during our regular business hours (shop & distribution centre).
Lastly, if you have not signed up for the weekly a-muse-letter - do it NOW! We have a special treat for you that our designers have been working on for a few weeks now. Click on this link to get signed up now. It just takes a minute and you'll be glad you did!
hugs,
P.S. Thank you for all the fun comments about my Old favorite post earlier in the week. We are working on a few new regular features for our weekly a-muse-letter based on your feedback. We appreciate that you take the time to share your thoughts with us! xoxo

What a fun new thing to do with the heart punches (but I'm thinking it would work with pretty much ANY of the punches, right?). I REALLY need to get an Every Holiday tree and start decorating it year-round. Thanks for the neat-O idea!!
