Inspiring Ideas 9/16

Would you mind if I shook things up a little this week? *wink*  I dunno if you're aware of this, but, each week, it's my responsibility, and great pleasure, to share some of our team's fabulous designs with you.  I thought this week, I'd chat a little bit more about the specific details of a few of their wonderful Fall and Halloween designs!

I must admit to being rather fond of the bracket frame and love how Becky used it here to frame in this charming little scene.  I thought it was pretty cool that she used these images to create a design that showed the versatility of these images beyond Halloween!

Did you know that if you stamp all the images in black pigment ink, and heat set it, you can color right over the top with Copic markers and nothing bleeds or smears?  It's truly a brilliant strategy for filling in the sky and the grass as Becky did on this design.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Jenn created this very pretty Thanksgiving greeting with our new Leaves Set--just love the dual tones and shading she applied to give them interest and depth.

If you stamped an entire sheet of white card stock with random leaves, colored 'em, and then cut apart the sheet, you could whip out 2 dozen greetings like this in an hour's time!  I think they're so sophisticated because of the gorgeous Madeira note card base.

WIZARD INVITATION

I actually did this one--*grin*--I simply put a little Post-It Note along the bottom edge of the window so when I stamped him, our little Magician would appear to be inside, practicing his (spell) casting!

I couldn't resist using my Quickie Glue Pen and some Prisma Glitter to create a magical trail from the tip of his wand, and naturally, a star Twinkle Sticker was the perfect sparkle to highlight it.
