A Muse Makes Life Sweet!
by Lexi
"When I sat down to create a card for A Muse's Great 8, I was immediately drawn to my very first A Muse stamps. I bought them before I even "found" A Muse. After following Julie's work on SCS and then on her blog, I realized I actually had some of those stamps and I was just giddy! That first purchase consisted of three shops and a shopper, so it's only fitting that i use one of them on an anniversary card for this special celebration. Another early favorite was the cupcake, which was also featured on my first published card. I thought it would make a fun addition to the top of the bakery--a neon sign, maybe? a sweet beacon of hope! The juliette paper adds just the right touch of "new" to these two old faves, while Copic coloring makes it bright and a twinkle is the cherry on top!
So, now it's your turn! What was your first A Muse stamp? Or if you've just found A Muse today -where have you been and what's at the top of your wish list?! Leave a comment on this post to enter and we'll announce a random winner on Tuesday who will win all the A Muse products used to make my card!"
A Muse links:
Bakery, cupcake, you make life sweet, Juliette blush cardstock, Robin's Egg Blue notes, Mini Dot Twinkle Stickers.
I had to make a big trip to buy my first Amuse stamps so there was no way I was getting only one! I came home with fawn, moose, cityscape, french lamp post, picnic table, classic window and the essential ovals set...woo hoo...it was a VERY happy day = )

My very first A Muse/Elzybells stamp was the little penguin juggling snowballs. LOVE him! And I love that my LSS has lots of A Muse for me to play with.

I think it was tiny cupcake, but I became addicted so quickly that I can hardly remember.

I think my first Amuse stamp was Patch but I bought several stamps at the same time... one of the others was polka dot frame but I can't remember the rest.

My first amuse stamp was Bride & groom for the wonder lovely wedding invitations that me and my husband (yes, I said husband) made for our wedding. He loved the fact that the groom looked quite thin and I loved the how elegant and simple the design was. I am now glued, tickled, jazzed about amuse stamps and have quite a collection for goodies.

I just purchased my first A Muse stamp about a month ago - despite having borrowed many stamps from a friend who is clearly addicted to you! She has been a great inspiration (as are your stamps!). My first stamp purchase was the "you make my heart sing" sentiment.

My first Amuse stamps were for my daughters first b-day party invitation. I bought the "tiny cake" (which holds one candle), the "Invitation message" and "Petunia" because she was born year of the pig! The invitation was absoulately adorable. I have been addicted to AMuse ever since. I have two little girls so I also love the Elzybells...soo cute!! Would love to see all of the chinese zodiac animals...especially the rooster!!
Congratulations!! Thx. for all the fun!!

My first Amuse stamp was the cupcake bought at the Paper Garden in Sacramento while visiting my cousin for Thanksgiving. I just got home tonight from driving 8 hours to buy some more Amuse stamps for my addiction. Lucky I had to attend a wedding near Sacramento over the weekend.

My very first A Muse stamp was "Knit Happens." It was quickly followed by several Christmas stamps.
Happy Anniversary!

The 4th of July stamps are on the top of my wish list. My son was born on the 4th so I'm always on the lookout for anything that relates
